Midthunder is a member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine tribe. She was born in the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico, and eventually moved back to the area after spending a lot of her childhood living in Santa Fe, where she went to her school, the Academy for Technology and the Classics and her mother worked in a casting firm. Amber originates from an Native American family on her dad's side. They are both members of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber's mom is an adopted which means that Amber has no idea of her mix ancestry. Prey stars a majority of Native American actors, such as Dakota Beavers (who is Blackfeet and Comanche) as well as Jhane Meiers who has been helping Prey for a number of years. Coco the adorable animal actor that plays Sarii was chosen due to her distinctive species in the form of an American Dingo. Carolina Dog is a breed which has been in existence for generations.
TJ's voice narration in the movie revolves around Amanda as well as some could refer to his daughter. TJ expressed his affection to her but she rejected him down because she was dating Daniel. Jack later got married to Amanda Emily, and Emily was later able to reveal Emily's identity. Since then, they became best buddies. In the end of the episode, they'll be married.
