The date of her birth is March 29, 1985, in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson's parents include Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. Stevenson is of Mexican heritage, but is American by nationality. The desire to be a sportsperson was born as a toddler. Gerina began playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina graduated from high school studies in Goddard High School. As a high-school student she won the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. As a volleyball player, she was also a participant in state tournaments. She was enrolled at the University of Texas, Texas during the 2003 academic year. Her senior year was a success. she was a winner in every single tournament that she took part in. In her undergraduate years she was awarded the title of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
